We are a privately owned retail financial services company specialising in mortgages and protection insurance. We were set up in 2005 after 6 months of planning and development. Our head office is in Crewe, chosen as a central location to cater for our network of advisors throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. The four directors have over 50 years experience in the retail financial sector. At our first planning meeting, the Chairman set out a clear task for the board ‘to build an organisation which would offer customers choice coupled with the service they deserve’.  We feel at Switch2 that we have already surpassed our initial expectations.

We offer mortgages from the whole of the market and have forged strategic links with some of the major players in the UK mortgage market. Customers can choose from a range of life, critical illness and income protection products from 13 of the major players in the UK protection market who are all household names.

Our comprehensive portfolio of protection policies is enhanced with all types of home and landlord insurance. We also have a wide range of private healthcare products.

We feel our customer contact strategy of face-to-face advice is what the market deserves and needs. This belief is supported by a recent Citizens Advice Bureau report, which showed that 97% of callers found dealing with call centres stressful. All our support staff are based in the UK and N. Ireland.

We are committed to reviewing our product range on a quarterly basis to ensure that we continue to meet our customer needs and provide them with competitive options.
